I used to look at coaching hires the same way. But realistically, by with the pressure these guys are under I’m not sure more than 10 years is a realistic goal. I can’t remember if it was Spurrier that said it years ago, be alluded to same thought.

 

It will be expensive no matter what it done.

 

Prices are going up. 10 mil is the new 7 mil. 8.5 is ole miss money

Thanks 62! This is what many of us have been hearing from folks I've learned are very trustworthy. One especially. Not sure how much David Waters has heard specifically, if anything, or the other guy (because lips have been tight, especially with those who publicize things for a living) but just because there is no foreseeable change right now at A.D. that doesn't also mean there can't be changes, or even significant changes, for the football program. They have probably pieced together different things they've heard but the SDS Blackmon guy is guessing very well.

It's all a matter of steps and about TIMING . . . which was said the night of the scUM game loss and the next day. Some apparently didn't listen. 62's thread here is up-and-running and Tilly's thread is getting all warmed up for good reasons.
