I don’t see us hanging with UCF. miss state is a terrible football team and we needed a goal line stand to put them away. The 3 and outs in the first quarter and to start the 2nd half was terrible oaky calling. Any afford that against legit competitions. Those 2 possessions highlight the incompetence of this staff. Miss states defense is terrible. Probably would be a battle with Samford. I just wish we ganged tackle. It seems like it’s always one player making a play on defense and a tackle vs swarming the ball with numbers.

I just don’t think the Florida administration is really committed to winning in the new era of NIL and player compensation. We still act like the NCAA means something. I don’t see this getting better anytime soon. We have fallen light years behind. I watch Tennessee play against Oklahoma and I don’t see us even in the realm of a team like that. We’re like a MAC or division II team now. Several teams are going to take out years of frustration on us. Scott Stricklin and the current administration can’t be the answer.
Sadly, I think they have clearly shown their commitment and it is certainly not to field a championship level football program. Our moron AD was asked about our football program recently and in his answer did not once mention football.
I've been a gator fan as long as I've known what football was. Over 59 years. Sad to see that the powers that be are going to let it die. Screw all of them.
Unfortunately, even though I think the archaic UAA is totally complicit, I believe the rot goes much higher in the admin. It is why I was hopeful when they hired Sasse...unfortunately he flamed out spectacularly and now the guy they put back in charge is the same one who might not have started the decline, but certainly assisted in greasing the skids. Its a bad time to be a Gator fan and, sadly, I'm not seeing much light at the end of the tunnel.
