I feel like these two paragraphs are in conflict. If we take the first at face value then rebuilds should be much much faster. Plenty of programs winning in year one. I would agree in the past before NIL and portal rebuilds take time. Maybe I’m wrong.

He has earned his firing if that's what he gets, but he could also be here again next year if we do not have a better solution. If he's here, he may show his ass a little bit and beat some good teams. It seems we're starting to get the talent to compete.

Teams like Miami and Indiana running out these great records have not played anyone. Let me know when somebody gets a one seed in year one. That's the reason these one and two loss SEC teams have won so many national championships because teams like Ohio State that we don't belong on the field with have not run the gauntlet that we ran to get there

Nope, 100% correct. Plenty of examples that those tools can be used to be successful very quickly.

Some schools have experienced dramatic success most maintain status quo some have regressed to unimaginable depths with the new landscape.

Dont confuse a roster turn with a program rebuild. Really big boy football with monster schedules need stability more than anything. Constantly churning may lead to a bright spot but it ultimately leads to starting over at a lower level. Im not talking roster think more about culture.

Kids, assistants, coaches, staff all talk. We have had a rep based on many aspects of the overall athletic dept. not all were helpful in talent acquisition. BN not only had kids answer the phone and visit he closed some really good ones in short order 1 full cycle, missing out last year on big pieces for D and OL in the end. Only BN knows what went wrong but he will fix it. Lastly, BN isnt going turn over the team to mercenaries we will recruit kids who want to be here while making reasonable $ not kids demanding top dollar. Is it a successful approach? To date it appears to be bringing teammates together and it has made them accountable to date

I don’t think rebuild must be playoffs in year one.

Kalen Deboer was hired at UW the same year as Billy. He has been to the national championship and moved the arguably the best program in CFB.

I love how the same people who talk about all the advantages UF has for being in the SEC with great recruiting grounds, rabid fan base, big boosters etc. Are the ones who admonish teams without those resources for not being up to snuff. The SEC has all these advantages, why aren't these other teams playing SEC teams? Then triple down by complaining about how hard our schedule is.

If NIL is truly cutoff it is all on the coach and his failure to win, nobody else. You can't honestly expect fans/donors to pour $$$ into a "process" that has failed to date.

Chris peterson had a great run 2016-19 and they were 1st place pac10 North in 2020 shortened season

That means KD only had to fix 1 year of mediocre performance not even in a comparable universe to what we have gone thru ie BN. Use apples to apples random thoughts nonsense

You have got to be kidding... Dan Mullen was first in the SEC East in the same shortened season! With 2 second place finishes the 2 year preceding that.

The year before BN and KD took over, Mullen was 6-7, Jimmy Lake was 4-8. That is about as apples to apples as you will ever find. Talk about an agenda, my goodness.
