I still think Kiffy is the master of burning down a schools net worth and moving on to the next gig. Is UT still paying that creep?
Dog secret agent, Making Millions "Mole" Muschump, returned to Athens in glory after wrecking the programs at two SEC East opponents, all the while lining his pocket.
Jimbo - Destroyer of Programs, destroyer of Dreams.............. Hope he sticks myself, we would not want A&M spending that kinda dough on a legit coach.
Did you head what our version of dumbo said? Mullen "put" our coach on the hot seat. Who the hail does that man think he is... to say that in public? What a clown. One more thing... the reason I despise Jimbo is becasue of the crap he does in recruiting, and that sad azz stunt he pulled about what time it was... right after his team beat us 27-2. One of his coaches asked him what time it was and he replied, "27 to 2..." Pure jackazz...
Wow...Mullen working overtime to hurt the program now, a program literally still paying him, and yet we have people defending him.
Insecurity. I'm not licensed but it appears Mullen can't abide anyone being successful following him or in comparison to him. It was the job. It was the SEC. It was lack of sufficient funding for him. It was modern college football. Anything. If Coach Napier succeeds, and I'd bet almost anything he will, it makes Mullen look worse (to the extent Napier succeeds) in comparison. So he starts talking-up the "hot seat" nonsense while it could get false traction. That's my 2-cents. I agree with the rest. Interested in hearing what others think.
Yep, the big offensive experiment at A&M is off to a rocky start. But for the rest of us who don’t care about A&M, this could be great. The potential entertainment value here is priceless. Jimbo and Petrino are both a couple of good ol’ boys who are under a tremendous amount of pressure to produce a national title for the A&M faithful. But if the wheels start to come off this wreck there’s no telling what may happen. How about a fist fight on the sidelines, in the middle of a game between the two coaches. OK, that may be too much to ask for but a heated screaming match could definitely be possible. Either way, I just hope we all get to enjoy the show.
You don’t get a buyout if you leave voluntarily in the middle of your contract. I’m pretty sure Kiffin or Southern Cal had to pay Tennessee for that privilege.
Sounds like Mullen wants to paint UF as an impossible job to keep under an impatient fanbase in order to make his body of work look tenable. I really don't hold quite as much against Mullen as some here, but, that is not a good look.
Agreed, anything to avoid admitting he didn't get the job done, even Muschamp admitted that when he was fired.
That's my take as well. Not sure if he is doing that to grease some wheels for a future head coach job somewhere so it makes it seem like his time at UF wasn't his fault.
