They are only the same thing if one is to ignore all the differences, like whether somebody needs to have actually committed the crime and the need for evidence. For example, Trump apparently wants to jail Milley for treason because...well, he has no evidence, but he doesn't like him. Trump's indictments are extremely detailed with substantial evidence. Which is why you are trying so hard to equate them at the loosest level possible.

My point was that there is not one. Fani Willis represents the State of Georgia, not Fulton County as @UFLawyer strongly implied.

 

It would be more accurate to suggest Ron DeSantis represents the people of Florida than the Fulton County DA represents the people of Georgia.

The fact that it's organized by the Heritage Foundation is consistent with the fact that it's part of a broader and long term effort. Heritage itself notes that it's a result of conservatives getting politically outmatched and outgunned for decades.

 

Is retaliatory investigations part of Project 2025? If so, when did that become part of the agenda?

It seems to serve a much broader purpose than mere criminal justice.
