We tried warning ya'll what the actions of Merrick Garland and Jack Smith would bring. None of you listened and continue to unequivocally support them and all of the Trump indictments. Now you're scared of Trump doing the same thing if he takes back the White House.

    Find someone who cares.

Then this thread has no purpose and none of ya'll have anything to worry about.

Nobody is above the law, and Trump is just promising to remind people of that if/when he wins the White House back.

Please provide an indictment from this DAs Office that does read “ The People of Fulton County”.

They are only the same thing if one is to ignore all the differences, like whether somebody needs to have actually committed the crime and the need for evidence. For example, Trump apparently wants to jail Milley for treason because...well, he has no evidence, but he doesn't like him. Trump's indictments are extremely detailed with substantial evidence. Which is why you are trying so hard to equate them at the loosest level possible.

You desperately sought out an explanation for why you aren't the baddies. And lo and behold, you found one.

Remember when the Empire struck back in 2020 ? Weren’t they depicted as Nazis in the movie ?

    .
My point was that there is not one. Fani Willis represents the State of Georgia, not Fulton County as @UFLawyer strongly implied.

It would be more accurate to suggest Ron DeSantis represents the people of Florida than the Fulton County DA represents the people of Georgia.

If he should (G-d forbid) win back the White House he will do what he and his MAGA cult have accused Biden of doing i.e. weaponizing the government against his enemies and his model will not be Joe Biden it will be much more like his friend the genius Vladimir Putin.

Project 2025 was reportedly established in 2022, and Trump wasn't indicted until 2023. If that timeline is accurate, the Project is not the result of the indictments and was already underway. The fact that it's organized by the Heritage Foundation is consistent with the fact that it's part of a broader and long term effort. Heritage itself notes that it's a result of conservatives getting politically outmatched and outgunned for decades.

Is retaliatory investigations part of Project 2025? If so, when did that become part of the agenda?

It seems to serve a much broader purpose than mere criminal justice.

Here's one example for the last time Trump was in office.
Comey and McCabe, Who Infuriated Trump, Both Faced Intensive I.R.S. Audits (Published 2022)
Taxpayer compliance audits are extremely invasive much more so than audits based on discrepancies or irregularities selected through the IRS's normal review of tax returns. The odds of being selected for one are roughly 1 out 30,600 based on data from 2017. It was much more than random chance that two of Trump's perceived enemies were selected for those audits.
And let's not forget Andrew McCabe
Andrew McCabe, fired by Trump, gets pension back | CNN Politics
If Trump is elected again his penchant for retribution will go well beyond tax audits and improper termination and he will not be restrained by appointees who have respect for the law. We can be absolutely certain that principle criteria the DOJ, IRS, FBI and DOD will be loyalty to Donald Trump. Expect investigations and possible indictments of his perceived enemies.

Why was it more than random chance? And even if it wasn't, didn't DAs campaign on prosecuting Trump? That's not random.

I thought nobody was above the law? Just because you're an enemy of Trump doesn't preclude you from an indictment does it? Also, I thought grand juries issued indictments, not Donald Trump.

Translation: Bring charges against someone who broke the law and if you're afraid he will want retaliation, then you shouldn't have charged him to begin with. Really??
    Let's be a lawless country!!!

Exactly. Let's claim to be the party of law an order and say nobody is above the law. But when our political leader gets charged, he's above the law because he's our leader, he's running again, and we want to be able to retaliate!
