The notion that Hannity has done anything but lock the door as he drives past a Wal-Mart is hilariously ridiculous.

    Here's another, lol.

Jerry Falwell: 'CT' Editor Would Call Jesus a 'Smelly Walmart Shopper'

"I think if Jesus lived today on the Earth, they would call him a smelly Walmart shopper," Falwell continued, "just like the Pharisees did 2,000 years ago. They said he [Jesus] was a friend of publicans and sinners, they made fun of him." The evangelical leader argued that there was now a divide in the church between Trump supporters and an "elite establishment" aligned with Democrats.

Trump may not have weaponized the DOJ his first term, but he was willing to just stay in power despite the fact his lawyers told him he lost the election and Constitutionally, Biden was the rightful President Elect. And had Jan 6 turned out different, and the insurrectionists reached Pelosi, Pence, and others, Trump might have been able to declare martial law and stay in power past Jan 20. Thankfully, for those of us who are loyal to the Constitution, that didn't happen.

I wonder when will Trump supporters realize they are being gaslighted, look at the evidence, and see themselves as in an abusive relationship with Trump? I know it's difficult to admit you're in a bad relationship when you have been completely committed, but Trump is going full Fascist. He's calling his domestic enemies vermin to be rooted out, calling for violence, and threatening to install nothing but Trump loyalists in all aspects of government. If that's not full Fascist, then what is? Maybe as this article portends, not enough people care?

Although Trump may not have weaponized the DOJ during his first term he will certainly do so if he has the opportunity during a second term and he did weaponize the IRS against some of his perceived enemies.
Comey and McCabe, Who Infuriated Trump, Both Faced Intensive I.R.S. Audits (Published 2022)
As a point of information taxpayer compliance audits are very intensive and the odds of a taxpayer being selected for one are extremely small. The fact the two of Trump's perceived enemies were selected for those extremely rare audits is more than mere coincidence considering that the subject taxpayers are supposed to be selected at random. It was almost certainly an intentional decision by Trump and implemented by the IRS commissioner appointed by the Donald.

Fyi--the "smelly walmart shopper" bit came from texts between fbi agents Strzok and Page.

"Show me the man, I'll show you the crime."

Trump hasn't just been inordinately scrutinized--he's been expressly targeted for investigation by political adversaries for being a political adversary.

Your implicit position is that in order to avoid the appearance of selective prosecution a political candidate representing a party in opposition to the Administration in power should receive immunity from prosecution regardless of any evidence that he may committed multiple crimes. In other words your default position is that the prosecution of a candidate and/or office holder of the opposing party is motivated almost entirely political retribution.

That’s a cop-out, IMO. His entities have been found criminally and civilly liable before he became president. His entities have committed financial crimes and defrauded millions in the private world. He’s a billionaire (maybe) who lives in the public eye. Of course he’s scrutinized. But merely because he’s scrutinized doesn’t mean he’s not guilty and liable. Heck, I’d argue that because he is so scrutinized he should be even more careful about his criminality and tortious conduct. Instead, he makes things easier on those scrutinizing him, because he believes he is above the law—even more reason to hold him accountable.

LOL. Which one of the Trump prosecutions is not being run by a partisan hack? You just want to sweep this under the rug. You libs are giving Trump 10 points in voter support. Then you have the audacity to complain if Trump is elected he will use the govt to attack his opponents. SMH

Can you say "Jack Smith"? Smith is a career DOJ prosecutor who worked in both Democratic and Republican administrations and in case you do not recall his first high level prosecution was that of John Edwards, a Democratic senator and a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination and at the time, George W. Bush, a Republican was president and the AG was Alberto R. Gonzales, a Republican appointed by Bush, the Republican president.

He's just a troll. He has no interest in actual objective discussion. This is just entertainment for him by way of getting people riled up.

who are you, objectively speaking….for that matter who are any of us.

I love it when people troll other posters by calling them trolls. It proves hypocrisy is still thriving.

    we should hang out.

I did but you refused to accept although I should have realized by now that anyone involved in the investigation and/or prosecution of Donald is by your definition a partisan hack. I guess that also applies to all of the judges with the exception of Donald Trump's personal judge Aileen Cannon.
