Huh? Do you think that CO2 increases only occur due to industrialization? Or that it can't occur because of industrialization? Try to make a logical point next time.

Well, I guess making things up is one way to go when confronted with information that you don't like. Good luck on that working out for you.

That's what the Climate Communists are initiating by stopping all fossil fuels use... but you know that, right?

    Again, thank you for playing.

Lol, I never said that your graphs proves human climate change intervention from 150,00 years ago to 10,000 years ago.

"Faked graphs" translates to "I don't want to hear it" while sticking your fingers in your ears. You have absolutely no evidence that anything I posted was factually incorrect, while I have presented evidence that your claims are.

Once again, good luck on defending your position by simply making things up so that you don't have to address factual information. It is a good defense mechanism when faced with how factually incorrect you are, I guess.

If humans effected the climate 10,000 years ago then prove it.

They likely didn't. But that wasn't the point you made. Nor a claim literally anybody made. And it also doesn't mean that humans can't affect the environment if they were to do things like pump a bunch of CO2 into the atmosphere. So, once again, try to make a logical point next time.

The point I DID MAKE was that CO2 levels and AGW are not exclusively the causation, nor the correlation, of global temperature variations... nor climate change.

You claimed that there wasn't a correlation between CO2 and global temperature. That is clearly and obviously false. Now, yes, the natural environment can cause changes in CO2 as well as humans. In the last 200 years, it has been primarily caused by humans, as there hasn't been a major natural cause for the spike in CO2 that we have seen while humans have dumped huge amounts of it in the atmosphere.

The biggest global danger to our climate is DEFORESTATION, and plastic pollution into our oceans.

These was not, in the past, before the industrial revolution.

But as I said watch the video and that slightly elevated reading are because we started taking temp reading during the mini-ice age.

Did you already forget that point I made a while ago... this morning?

Yes, there was. As I clearly showed. Dating back hundreds of thousands of years.

And we have substantial data going back hundreds of thousands of years. Which shows a strong correlation between CO2 and temperature.

No, I refuted it and you declared the refutation "fake" with absolutely no evidence as to any inaccuracy contained in the data.

Ha, most every big global warming alarmist owns water front property or flies around in their private jets or their 100 foot yachts or has three 10,000 sq ft homes...they just don't want you in the club.

If you want green R&D subsidies or tax deductions for adhering to certain green standards, I'm fine with that.

It's the policy to the point of almost banning the "bad" forms of energy without an efficient and/or effective alternative that I have a problem with. Right now, there is no widely available alternative to the "bad" energies without compromising cost, efficacy, or efficiency. If there were, the path forward would be awfully simple. Everyone just transitions to greener energy with the only sacrifice being the transition costs with everything being business as usual once the transition is complete. But as we all know, it's not that simple.

Until then, I'm not going to favor putting the entire US economy out on a limb on the hope that the cost will become reasonable over time. What if it doesn't? We will have screwed ourselves without effectuating any significant change. And even if some of the biggest climate alarmists are right and we listen to them, it won't mean anything without global commitment.

    Hi Rick -

I will not get caught up in the political debate about global warming and ICE Core data however I would suggest you look at The Greenland Ice Corp data pre Younger Dryas.

If one takes into account the INCREDIBLE temperature variations that occured (assuming the Ice-Core data is accurate) for the last 300,000 years the planet has been in a relatively stable weather pattern (MILD), the last 13,000 years.

When you look at the data pre Younger Dryas the temperature extremes are almost beyond belief.

There were no Democrats, Republicans or Independents back in those days. Just people trying to survive.

If in fact, that data is correct, the planet we know today and human civilization as we know it today would be unsurvivable if the climate shifts, as indicated in those Ice Cores, of long ago, are correct. Some cores suggest 12 - 15 degree temperature swings in very short duration time periods. Less than 100 years. Temperature swings like that bring weather osscillations akin to that movie "The Day After Tommorrow".

Why do you hate the U.S. timber, lumber, and paper (and plastic) industries? Why do you want to drive up prices for our timber, lumber, and paper (and plastic) products? All while China and India mold up plastic and chop down trees non-stop. Hell, in China they don't just chop trees, they chop sticks!

Wait, wait, let me try again...

How much hubris! How arrogant you must be to think that humans could affect the climate on a global scale. It's a pretty big planet, you know. Even the so-called "space" station can't see from edge to edge, but somehow a little responsible harvesting of what is essentially an unlimited renewable resource is going to be a "global danger". Sheesh. Do you even read what you write?

    Hold on, I missed some:

Deforestation? Do you mean farm land? You're welcome. Instead of letting these large swathes of arable land just lie around, we're putting them to work growing food. A proper wheat field (amber waves of grain) and not some gloomy forest where poisonous snakes and hungry jungle cats try to turn the tables on us. And pollution? How about shade for stressed coral? How about more habitat for our dwindling stocks of prey fish? What are YOU doing to support our fragile marine ecosystems that are just going through a totally normal climate cycle of slight warming?

I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed. You are the last one I would have expected to be captured by big money tree-hugger propaganda. I bet you didn't even let your truck run all day this Arbor Day, did you? :(
