He's consistent. Poor shooting, spotty defense in transition, a one-man inside game, these are the issues this team faced Tuesday and one play had nothing to do with all of that. Those are also the things that have plagued this squad, the seventh for Florida’s head coach Mike White at Florida. It’s been the same story for most of the season where the team can pitch a pretty good defensive performance but can’t shoot worth a lick. The excuses continue to roll in, but the fact is this team that was supposed to be a good shooting group hasn’t done it often enough this year and a 7-for-30 night from beyond the arc shouldn’t be a thing for a team wanting to make the tournament but has been too often this season. Fleming didn’t lose the game, the same issues did
Is that he could be a replacement for Mr. Rogers if they ever wanted to bring the kids show back to PBS. Although they couldn’t call it Mr. White’s Neighborhood in this political climate. Probably wouldn’t go over too well.
He’s a failed experiment at this point. I’m not sure what options are out there. But there’s got to be someone better then this. We’re back to the pre Lon Kruger era.
The team never quits. The ptoblems now are personel, which has been in flux for a number of reasons. If he keeps bringing in players like Kennedy and Reeves we will be fine. How NIL affects transfers and recruiting is still an open book.
