I think each coach leaving or arriving can sustain their own thread(s). Each impacts the team and recruiting in different ways. Thanks!

Smarter move going to coach under Payton then taking the Arizona gig.

    Sheesh...

Timing isn't great. But I hope we can bring in some even better replacements; like, immediately! Need to keep everyone in place and get ready for this spring game. Ike Hilliard? Dallas Baker? I understand CJ Spiller is still considering...oh, nevermind.:p

    Here we go Gators!!

    Go Gators.;)

CBN offered Jeff Scott a QA position and he turned it down. Maybe he’ll take a field coach position? He coached WRs at Clemson, which is where he is now, as a QA.

It’s not necessarily a bad thing when you have 3 coaches jumping to the NFL. Nobody from the league was coming after Mullen’s staff.

Wouldn't Eric Kiesau be a natural to fill one of the openings? I know Auburn's offense wasn't great, but he did coach QBs and WRs. Why bring him in as an analyst for the passing game if he can't coach those positions?

I keepseeing people say Scott took an analyst position at Clemson....but I'm not sure he actually did. I saw all the same speculation, but have never seen where he actually pulled the trigger

Eric would be an option too. We wouldn’t bring Scott in for a QA position. He already said no to that offer, when fired by USF. We’d be bringing in Scott for WR/TE coaching spot, which would supersede his current QA job at Clemson.

It's a little odd Clemson didn't just make Scott the OC. I know Garret Riley was the hot name, but still. With Eric Kiesau not being immediately named to an on field position, Maybe someone like Jeff Scott is being considered. I would think he would have to be co-offensive coordinator/WR to consider.

it’s possible he isn’t the QA guy yet. Not sure how to read into this. It doesn’t say he accepted, but is expected…. Hmmm 8BF7E03C-83AC-470B-8F28-0F3607C8CFF2.jpeg

Anyone hearing anything at all about possible replacements? Imagine a hire will happen quickly with spring practice around the corner. I need a list of candidates stat!

Maybe we could have Andre Debose be the NCAAs first player/coach. He only has a year of eligibility left (note I didn't say what year).

Timing ain’t good with spring ball starting soon.
Hard to upgrade over Colbert for sure as he’s very good.

Scott should be offered an on field position. He’s a very good recruiter too.

Justin Stepp ( Carolinas WR coach)name has come up on the other Gator site as a possible replacement, but I don’t see it happening unless he’s offered a Co-OC position.

His home is in Columbia and he just landed Harbor and top rated WR Mazeo Bennett for 2024.

Never say never though when it comes to CFB.

I’d imagine coaches that won’t meet a lot of expectations.

Our AD should open the checkbook for these candidates. We need some consistency (not sure if college ball will ever see that again) but it's worth a shot. There's time to develop and secure relationships, and if BN is happy, he can sell that to recruits. The spring game could use a corch or three soon though.

If there wasn't adversity, it wouldn't be Gator-ball.o_O:p

Here's to BN landing the best coaches.;)

    Go Gators.:)
