These are websites taken down by DOGE. It seems to me those DOGE guys and supporters would rather use the “N” word but can’t, so when you hear one of them say “DEI” they would rather use racist, homophobic, and gynophobic slurs instead. Pentagon restores webpage for Black Medal of Honor winner but defends DEI purge 442nd Regimental Combat Team webpage partially restored after public outcry
Supposedly AI was used to find and eliminate anything with the term dei or crt. Then once it’s identified put back without any mention of either. Don’t know if true. Saw on the news.
Doesn't jive. I doubt Jackie Robinsons bio that was erased mentioned either. My guess is more "colorful" search terms we're used
That’s what they said and it specifically about Jackie Robinson. They said once a few terms were eliminated his info was put back. I watch different news but think it was ABC world news tonight.
I definitely believe they said that. But without proof I simply don't believe them. Why would his profile come up with CRT and DEI search results? I'm not questioning you. Just the reporting.
What information was placed into the AI that caused, whether accidental or not, the scrubbing of the history of people of color, sexual orientation, and gender? My guess they wanted it all scrubbed, then when caught they’d just say “Oopsy! It was an accident.”
If they limited it to those terms they would have produced no results lol ... I think anyone with a brain knows they basically flagged anything to do with black/brown people or women, and got called out on this one
When the Pubs protested the removal of Confederate Statues, they extolled that it was akin to erasing history. Such hypocrisy from those people.
You may be right. I saw dei on one of writings they posted. ABC news isn’t pro Trump by any means. Tuskegee Airmen were mentioned at the end. Stupid move either way. Pissed me off to see one of my favorite people removed. I’m also a big WWII guy and have nothing but respect for the Tuskegee Airmen. I got to meet one in about 2012-13 and was in awe of him as he told some stories. He let us know right away that he wasn’t a pilot just a mechanic that kept the planes running. You could hear the pride in his voice when he spoke. His wife was there and beamed with pride. So cool. I just wish I got a picture but didn’t think about it.
