#2 showed up for a game recently, not sure if he is really interested in UF. We also just offered #38 on the list, haven’t seen any visit arranged yet.

 

Is it time for UF to win a local boy five star battle?

 

Maybe Gibson is seeing that Baxter, a #1 RB in the country has similar stats to Webb, our clear cut 3rd string.

 

I don't know about that. We seem to be in on more than one more running back right now. I hear the chatter about 3, not that we would sign that many more. But I suspect that we sign at least one more back in 2024.

Tommy Durrance and Mike Rich were the first ones I saw live

 

Larry Dupree then Larry Smith were the first ones I saw.

 

Neil and John L for my first in person games

 

I was in the 9th grade, playing on the Charlotte High School JV squad. A friend/teammate and his dad took me to the Miss St - Gator game. Gators won 34-13. Somehow, we ended up on the sidelines at the end of the game. I met and got autographs from Mike Rich, Tommy Durrance, and John Reaves. Reaves tossed me his sweat band. I’ve been a Gator ever since. The autographs are framed and hanging in my Gator room.

 

And Lo Hampton

 

Was at that game, 1970 I think.Tthat same year I got Youngblood, Alvarez, Reaves, Fred Abott, Durrance Rich to sign my hat. Was all in at 6 years old

 

My first Gator game was the 1969 Gator Bowl between Florida and Tennessee. I got to see John Reaves, Carlos Alvarez and Tommy Durance.

 

My first was a cocktail party as a kid and Wes became my hero. He scored a td and dunked it over the goalpost. He hurt himself and we lost. I started hating puppies on that day.
