That 2003 “Swindle in the Swamp” ACC Officials Crew.

I agree that they do in most games, but not in this one. The refs absolutely decided the outcome of that game.

 

Neither could Vern or Gary.
It was so blatantly bad.
If video review was around then we win by at least 14 points.
I'm pretty sure that game had a lot to do with implementing video replay.

 

So, let me get this straight. The clowns are going to show up Sat in the Swamp, with their conference officiating crew, knowing full well they’re the conference’s only hope in getting a spot in the little 4 team playoff, so they must win. Just brilliant, who agreed to this setup??

Consider this an appetizer for the main course Saturday night....anyone who can watch this and not hate the ACC officiating and FSU with every cell in your body go ahead and turn in all your orange and blue clothing immediately.

And now FSU comes in 11-0 but shaky in the CFP rankings and absolutely needing the win to get in the playoff. If we're any threat to pull the upset with ACC refs calling the game, it isn't hard to guess what's going to happen.

Tell that to Boston College this year when they were punching FSU in the face mid third quarter with a penalty count of 17-0 in favor of FSU.

I have watched football--NFL and collegiate--since the late 1950's. I have NEVER watched a more badly officiated, ON PURPOSE, game!!!

 

Interesting fact. The same crew officiated the FSU-BC game AND the FSU-Miami game.
