My daughter in law evacuated to Mississippi where her father lives. I told her to be sure to fill up before she left. Her answer was "do you think I'm stupid, I filled up this morning". Anybody who got on I-75 with less than a full tank was an idiot.

As for DeSantis exactly what did you expect him to do. Even CNN could come up with nothing bad to say about his effort to meet the last minute demand.

I can’t do it. Napier putting together a single half in year three against a relatively weak opponent just doesn’t move the needle for me. I feel like he has set the bar so low we’re like a parched man ecstatic for a drop of water.

Here's my problem here; I actually don't know enough to critique RdS on this. I'll be honest - I guess he did a good enough job, but I don't have a strong opinion bc I don't really know.

BUT........

He is such a vile, hateful piece of ***t that I'm not going to give him credit when he deserves it. I'll just stay quiet. He had plenty of opportunities to govern for the people, but he just chose to be a vile Trumpy *$$hole. He chose Trumpy performative theater, and the politics of hate over solving problems that would help people.

But I'll be sure to say something positive when the Gov. of MD does something well. It's not a partisan thing. It's a common decency thing.
