I couldn't believe how much bitching and moaning Clemson constantly did during the game. Just incredible.

It was at their home field. They’re used to everything going their way….

    But at least be savvy.

They have a great baseball program but seemed to do everything today ( like new kids on the block ) to piss the umpires off.

    Odd, odd, odd.

That lefty pitcher near the end barking his ass off, then the head coach showing his ass . . . surprising and disappointing.

My Carolina grad spouse was glad. Gamecocks-Tigers is as intense a rivalry as you'll find, I have come to learn.

My favorite part was the head coach getting himself ejected because the mascot coach was ejected after the player was not ejected.

What was the head coach thinking by bringing the Creighton kid to the field after being told he was ejected? I had to listen to game, and haven't seen video replay, but it was almost like he brought him out to show the umpires up?

That lefty LOSING pitcher. So satisfying he stuck around to collect his karma.

He told the umpire that he (the HC) wasn’t telling the player that he was ejected—the umpire had to tell him.

The way our guys were talking on the radio, the whole situation seemed to be pretty mild. They were worried that the lengthy review was going to end in Cags being tossed.

That's kinda dumb, say your piece to the umpire and then handle it with the kid in the dugout so he doesn't embarrass himself.

I agree 100%. It just makes their HC look rather spineless IMHO.

I have never disliked Clemson, always kinda rooted for them when they played FSU/Bama. After this weekend, I kinda understand why our Carolina friends dislike them. On the radio, it sounded like that Siren went off for a solid 5-10 mins after the solo HR in extra innings. I had to turn the volume down on my phone, because it sounded like an alert going off.

Back in 1972 when I finished @ Chipola I had three schools recruiting me….Clemson (Bill Wilhelm HC), South Alabama (Eddie Stanky HC), and FSU (Jack Stallings HC). Clemson wore white cleats and I was too ol’school for that, Mobile is well, Mobile and FSU by far had the prettiest Diamond Dolls.

Never had anything for Clemson after that.

Those were three solid head coaches.
