They did say find another outlet as we don't want your business. And they would have returned the money to the donors, as is consistent with their user agreement and the law. Then you tried to get the government to force them to do business with people they didn't want to do business with.

We learn from the best, the democratic socialist party.

Seems to me that the South Dakota governor is suing POTUS because he is refusing to allow money approved for school lunches unless schools teach CRT and sex/gender. What in the hell do you say POTUS is doing if not punishing states and schools who don't subscribe to his woke bullshit?

The US KGB. DOJ/FBI, is more political now than ever. POTUS is using them as a blunt force instrument to persecute people of different political persuasions. You are okay with this? Of course, you are, don't deny it.

The H word that comes to mind most often here is hypocritical. People of liberal persuasion are fine with others whom they disagree with being persecuted and punished. Just be honest about it, another H word.

Notice that the right has NO governing ideas other than to make up culture war BS, commandeer an acronym (like CRT or ESG), and use these simplistic symbols to further divide this country and sow hatred, anger and violence. What else do they have???

When? After the mid-terms. For now, he wouldn't dare share his plan with the voters. Dishonest DeSantis.

Poster has incorrect interpretation. USDA does not require teaching of " teach CRT and sex/gender"
Be better. Try USDA press release from May 5th, 2022 instead of right-wing crap sources.

Easy to say. You know DeSantis would never do it. He counts on their votes.

He won't ban it after the midterms either. He will just continue to try to distract his base with all these anti-woke proposals.

The link is upthread. You ignored it then and still do.

Ask yourself who benefits from the conflict you seem so determined to advance? The only way the USA fails is if we fight each other. Whether you realize it or not you are being used by outside interests that want the US to be divided. Trump was a useful idiot for Putin and people supporting that far right agenda continue to be useful idiots for him

"I know Disney didn't break the law and I don't care."

Wow! You support extra-legal governmental punishment of people or corporations who don't agree with Dear Leader. That says it all.

"Don't like it, try winning elections."
Good advice for Trump and the GQP. He LOST by 8 million votes in a fair election.

By the way, DeSantis won his election by a mere 0.4%. Far from a mandate.

    Winner. 49.6%, Ron DeSantis, GOP, 4,076,186, ✓. 49.2%, Andrew Gillum, Dem, 4,043,723. 1.2%, Other, 100,585.

So, you "dislike" statements of fact? Awww . . . :)

Ill summarize. Banks pulled out of Texas bond market or were excluded, i
less competition led to higher underwriting costs, taxpayers got screwed out of $500M in additional interests, banks made $500M in additional interest. but they showed those libbies

Texas’ Wall Street Showdown Costing Cities Hundreds of Millions - Bloomberg

Texas taxpayers are footing the bill for the state’s war with Wall Street over guns.

The state’s municipal borrowers have been hit with as much as $532 million of extra debt costs because of a new GOP law that’s led some banks to step back from Texas’s bond market. That’s the conclusion of a new paper by Daniel Garrett, a University of Pennsylvania professor, and Ivan Ivanov, a principal economist at the Federal Reserve.

The researchers examined sales in Texas’s $50-billion-a-year municipal-bond market after a law took effect in September that targeted banks for their gun policies.

The legislation, known as Senate Bill 19, bars governments from entering into contracts with companies that “discriminate” against firearms entities. It has caused banks including Bank of America Corp. and JPMorgan Chase & Co., among the biggest underwriters of state and city debt nationwide, to stop most public-finance business in the state.

The study found that “the exit of the targeted underwriters from the Texas market has significant impact on underwriter competition and that the remaining banks are unable to offset the adverse effects of removing banks from the market.” The result is “large adverse effects for borrowers.”

Actual reason South Dakota is suing: The Biden administration passed a rule based on the Bostock decision saying that if states discriminate against poor LGBTQ kids in providing school lunches, they can lose federal funds. Takes seriously evil people to want to be able to deny school lunches to poor LGBTQ children. If not being allowed to discriminate against gay kids is "persecution," yes, I would love to see Republicans "persecuted."
