So violence is permissible when someone says FO? What caused the FO comment? I doubt the UT player was super kind, considerate, and understanding when someone mistakenly walks into the wrong place. But now the UT player really does get to FO which is really F'n funny.
They totally shut down our running game. Apparently they did that to LSU? They might give Bama a game, especially if Bryce Young is limited. Has anyone slowed down their O?
This is one of those games that I might have to wait until it starts to see who I want to win. I never have cared much for Tennessee because always felt like Fulmer was an informant for the NCAA back in the day when the NCAA used to actually be proactive. I don’t hate on Bama like some do but I’m not their biggest fan either. They almost always represent the SEC well out of conference.
Umm, Texas isn't the old Texas. With Ewers, they are a top 3 team. No Texas team in all of their history ever beat any Oklahoma team as badly as they did last weekend. I don't think anyone wants to tangle with an Ewer-led Texas right now. Now A&M. Fluke. A 2nd string QB getting his 1st start against a desperate team. You remove his turnovers and Bama blows them out. It might even have been a shutout because all of their scores came off turnovers. Maybe 1 didn't but I do know Milroe's 3 turnovers lead to 17 easy points. He cleans those up and he's going to be dangerous. Bama hasn't had a dual threat QB since really Sims and Hurts and he appears to be far better. The key to Tennessee is can he make the leap in progression. Another week getting all of the reps. 1 and a half games under his belt. Will it be enough on the road in a rowdy stadium?
Not sure if this year is a changing of the guard, but IMHO there's certainly parity in the NCAA this year, more than years past and everyone seems vulnerable. Our own Tom Petty even says: "...even the losers, get lucky sometimes..." And they do! Like usual, a lot of teams will act as spoilers too. Tensions are high, there will be no bro hugs after games. HA! No teams seem elite to me this year. But teams might be good enough to win it all in the end. Halfway point now. One annoying thing that should be changed in college ball IMHO is the rankings. While they usually work their way out by mid-season, football should be officially ranked after the first four games have been played. Anytime you can refrain from having the media involved in determining anything too early is a good thing. Just saying. Tenn, led by Fulmer's son might be the real deal. They have the QB. Isn't it amazing what one player can do for a team? Go Gators. Beat LSU!
I think NIL money will somewhat level the playing field. I don’t think teams are going to be getting 3-5 5-star players every year (Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State) because they can’t afford them. NIL money could result in some players not leaving early.
with Bama as their set West opponent, I think this it always like this on alternating years — at least until the schedule gets rearranged with the addition of TX and OU
and if you discharge that 9 (or even just point it at an unarmed person), you will need a defense attorney
I’m good with that..I’m too old to be messed with honestly! Guess it would be better to negotiate it as he is stealing at will or harming a family member ?? Don’t think so friend
Bama doesn't look like their normal dominant self. They look vulnerable and prime for a spanking! Maybe Nick is losing his edge? Kirby is getting just as much talent on his team and he is competing. Did I mention a friend of mine had a friend who's brother-in-law's sisters husband went to Saban's house for Thanksgiving back in 2007?
I think if Tennessee has the same success against bama's run game as they did against us, Young or no Young, Tenn's probably bama's equal. Why wouldn't Young start?
