Ted Cruz’ daughter-attempted suicide?

Every parent's worst nightmare. I hope she gets the help she needs.

 

Very sad, many teens are really suffering. I blame in part the ridiculous ideas that social media magnifies.
Incidence of eating disorders tripled during the pandemic.
Know numerous kids (mostly young girls) who have tried “cutting”.

Hopefully this is not a serious as it could be.

 

Says not life threatening, so could be one of those “cry for help” kind of things.

Being that age and the daughter of a high profile politician surely a lot to deal with even in the best circumstance. When that politician is Ted Cruz…I’m guessing she hears a lot of what her friends parents think of him. Maybe there are other more typical teenage girl things at issue, but that stress piles on.

 

Very sad. Hope she’s ok.

We I was a kid 1-2 people may have a beef with you now 1000’s of your best “strangers” can pile on and me merciless.

I don’t think much of Cruz as a person and a politician but have empathy for him as a father.

Yikes. Very sad. I’m just guessing we won’t get the undying conspiracy theories retweeted about this terrible event like the CEO of twitter and Ted Cruz did with Pelosi’s husband.

This is where a father takes a long look in the mirror and walks away from politics.

Only a drastic show of love and support will impact her.

Show her she is more important than all the power, fame and votes that you desire.

There isn't a job in this world I wouldn't quit on the spot for my kids.

My guess is the power has too strong of a grip on him sadly. Add on his controversial manner and her life must be tough.

I frankly feel its selfish to put kids through this type of career. Raise your kids first... Then run for high political office.

 

I think if he was that kind of a man he would never entered into politics.

 

Didn't Cruz blame his daughters for the reason he took the family for a vacation in Mexico during a big power outage or something in Texas?

 

Most of their kids fly under the radar. I wonder if it’s as much the politics as it is the limelight. She got a lot of attention online on tik tok. That kind of attention is hard on kids.
