    First: Shrink rate is theft to sales ratio, not profit.

    Second: The graph has the rates up top which are not reflected in the made up bar sizes. If you do the math $50B/. 014 and $112B/.016 you get 2018 as $3.57T in sales and 2022 as $7.03T. That’s not retail sales. Whatever that number is 57% of 2018 retail sales and 99% of 2022 retail sales. Of course the shrink amount goes up when you account for more of the market. You are out of you league here pal.

    Third: industry experts dispute accountable retail executives passing off the exaggeration.
