Tampa dentist has been indicted for sending dozens of racially charged threats

There is a wide range of beliefs in the GOP that include many people who don’t act this way. The issue is there is no active attempt to jettison these groups who do.

Not skirting a damn thing. I agree 100% he is a jerk but it is local Tampa news, hardly worth it's own thread. Incidents like this happen almost daily from idiots from both sides of the isle. Now if it were a big time politician that would make it thread worthy. I'm not interested in threads about nobodies who act like jerks.

 

It does seem this might have been a good time to use Florida's "Red Flag" law before the guy acted on his threats. Maybe they were hoping he would so Brandon could use it in his anti Trump and guns campaign.

 

There is much accuracy in your post, but it's ultimately just another version of trying to ignore the criminality and grotesquery of Trump- and those who supported it . ....and then hoping to pretend that it never happened.

But we know it won't be like that. There's a veritable Star Wars bar scene of vile and deplorable politicians and leaders actively assuming the mantle of Trumpism; from Desantis to Abbot to Huckleberry to Aileen Cannon to the criminal enablers on US Supreme Court. Do we think these people are going to return to normalcy in 5 months if Trump loses? Or in 4 years if he wins, for God's sake?

While the time to take a stand against Trumpy Deplorableism has probably long passed, there no longer is a middle ground. Just like there no longer is a GOP. It's for Trump and criminality or against it.


Tldr; the only thing that will stop this Trumpy vileness is everyone who isn't deplorable voting AGAINST IT.
