There's a bunch of ways to take this. Would she be getting fouled like this and having other players cheer when she gets knocked on her ass if she was black, or the flip side is, would she be so popular if didn't break all those college records if she wasn't white?

There might be something to that, but there is a great deal more media infrastructure for women's sports than in the past when other players were dominating in college doing crazy things. Basically every game is on TV now, there is social media to share clips, talking heads shows, and niche programs and podcasts catering to fans. There was a lot of structure in place for someone like Clark to blow up.
