I have now watched the first two hours it was all good imho. Meyer even sets up his downfall in a friendly personable way.

I agree. Very fair, at worst. I enjoyed it very much.
Edit: And I’ve watched all four episodes btw.

I also don't get why everything about the SEC includes that talking head.

So still butt hurt from the early 90's. What a brittle spirit. I don't think Peyton cares that much that he never beat us.

All true. And there probably isn’t a fan base out there that hates UF more than Tennessee

Why does it seem that every school lists us as their number one hated rival? How about turning that ire towards Mississippi St. or something.
I would be willing to bet the majority of the following fan bases would say beating us each year would be their number one goal.
UGAG, TN, FSU, Kensucky, Miami, LSU (close one), Maybe Auburn if we played them every year.

The great Steve Spurrier explained that back in the days when everyone in the SEC was learning to hate us for more reasons than simply not being a bunch of mouth-breathing endomorph hillbillies like the rest of the SEC

Just finished, and I loved it. Really made me want that 2009 championship game. Excellent program. Go Gators!

Binged it all today… amazing series that made me very nostalgic at times. Not a hit piece at all, and really shines a bright light on that 5 year window of awesomeness.

A lot of room for a good story here. Doesn't have to be pro-Gator propaganda or a hit-piece. A lot of material in there for both good and bad. Which is pretty much how I feel about that time.

On the field, best athletic four-year period in UF history bar none. Off the field, embarrassing obviously. Except Timmy of course.

Some people are great with the media. :D No matter how much of a jerk some people are, they still find a way of selling themselves so people like them. Urban is one of those guys.

I can't hate him all that much. Without him, no Timmy, no Percy, no epic spread-option, Heisman Trophy, or National titles during that period.

I'd put Alabama ahead of us for both Auburn and LSU. Everyone else is probably correct.

Finebaum had no business on that show. Just a jerk who kept trying to get Urban out of Florida. Guaranteed he was going to Norte Dame for years. The rest of the show was pretty good, not the hit job I expected. I can remember the feelings I had both high and low, sitting in the stadium while those games were being played during this time. It was and still is great to be a Florida Gator!!

The Gator haters at SECRrant don't like it... so it must be not so unflattering.

Just watched the debut with Brandon Siler in downtown Orlando. He is/was a beast and loyal to the Gators. Won’t post pictures out of respect, but we need more Brandons!
Watched the first 2 episodes. Nicely done so far. Check back after I watch more!

    . . . yet ;)
Edit: Apparently the series is complete and it wasn't a hit piece.

Binged it already. Definitely not a hit piece, but does briefly touch on 07’s off field issues related to the entitlement issues. Overall there are some interesting stories from the players and coaches. Interesting how the dynamics of that locker room evolved over time.
