Swamp Gas Sports moderation

Swamp Gas is moderated to curtail any opinions deemed to be overly negative. Talk to your friends away from this board and you'll get a different opinion of our play and where we are as a program...especially those who have been fans for the last 3-4 decades. So no, you're not necessarily wrong but sometimes the truth hurts.

Some use the word "policed" I prefer the word moderated but we will not argue over words.

As I explained in a thread last week, I have been doing this for 17 years. The owner of the forum gave me the responsibility to have a policy that folks discussions take place and members not be allowed to be overly critical of players, coaches, or other members.

Solari, the owner, banned paying members for constant negativity and we have rules to prevent that. The forum is a privately owned forum by one person. So, if in my judgment, a member becomes "overly negative" we try to push them to a less negative position.

The mods here will use thread bans, deletes, warnings, and site bans to get a member(s) who does not want to comply. We have rules posted that if a person does not want to follow, then we will take the steps needed.
