    Kyle Jones is a very good addition. The kid can play and will be solid CF for UF the next 2-3 seasons.

    Clemente started for his team in the Cape Cod Allstar game on Saturday and threw a hitless inning striking out two. Donay was the starting catcher and went 0-2 and Kurland was 1-3 as the starting second baseman.

    Clemente’s showing in the Cape has been the most promising news of the summer. And right behind that is the play of Kurland as it seems he is finally over his hand injury that seemed to affect him all spring.

    Wasn't it just a year ago when there was a debate about: 1. Does Clemente really exist? and 2. Will he ever pitch? Now, he's acting like the next Gator mound star.

    Showing much better command than he did last season at UF. Clemente issued 23 walks/HBP in 28 2/3 innings for UF but has cut that down to 13 free passes in 27 innings at the Cape. Still has a ways to go but Clemente has made some really big strides this summer.

    Hoping this summer’s work brings Brody that much needed consistency to his upcoming Gator baseball campaign.

    I was a little surprised also but I saw it on the internet so it must be true. It was a tweet from Peter Flaherty who I think is with Baseball America.

    @PeterGFlaherty
    Brody Donay (@GatorsBB ) put on a show today, crushing 11 of the West Division’s 13 total HR. 6’5” adonis who hit .260 this spring with 12 HR. Having a strong summer for Hyannis with 8 2B, 3 HR, and 17 RBI. 70-pop and 80-arm strength behind the dish. #BACape23
