Corey Raymond is one of the most respected, and successful DB coaches in the SEC. We were thrilled to get him. He is no sacred cow. But disparage away.

And you call other posters dumb?

His NFL salary is 800k. I think doubling that is doable, so throw out some feelers and see what happens.

It's one thing to look at UGA, Ohio State, Alabama, or the top teams and say we don't have OL talent like that and it is true. But plenty of mid level teams have good OL without exceptional talent due to strength & conditioning and culture. We need to show we can build a OL without all 5-stars everywhere. Alabama's early OL's under Saban were not exceptionally talented but they were disciplined and cohesive. Our 2006 championship team had a really good line and none of the starters played meaningful snaps in the NFL. Can we master discipline and cohesion with or without blue chippers? It's not just about talent when it comes to OL.

Six pages in and no mention of Kerwin Bell?

Tulsa OC Steve Spurrier Jr. just put up 26 points on Charlotte (4 more than UF) with a bunch of one and two star talent.

But seriously, I'll agree with others that our two O-line coaches are the biggest issue. Bad execution, no improvement and neither recruit well. Replace both with one quality coach and add a much needed special teams coach.

  12. Crazy idea: Kerwin Bell. Offer him $2M to be OC and head coach in waiting. Offer Kerwin’s son a job as analyst. In a few years if Napier does not work out, we have a Gator legend waiting in the wings.

Tough three game stretch to audition in but why not give Callaway a shot. He’s there and familiar with what’s go on.

Fair, but talent can't be ignored. Everyone knows we have a G playing at RT.

Thought he was the OC now, I know Eagles fans aren’t super happy with him this year.

And the backups aren’t experienced and they are young. Teams that a have good lines have spent time to get that cohesion.

I enjoy the banter but these coordinator wish list threads always have some far out there opinions.
