I can’t see this helping ratings. Why not prime time?

I wonder have they evacuated everyone within the French Quarters? Are people quarantined from moving about in the FQ's? Has that area been completely shut down?

I don't know if it would be possible or practical to evacuate everyone. I believe the authorities are still finding disturbing things.

TY. Keep in mind everyone that the winner of Sugar Bowl plays the first semifinal next week on Thursday (versus Friday for tOSU/Texas) against Penn St who played last night and will now have a two-day rest advantage.

It's a "person other than grunt" in the Army or Marines. Means someone who is in a role that doesn't see combat. They make up about 85% of the Army/Marines, so they are the large majority of people in those branches.

Not quite. It essentially means someone who is not infantry or special forces. Sometimes combat engineers count; sometimes they don’t. Even other ground combat arms, such as armor and artillery, get called POGs. Never mind combat aircrew. We’re definitely POGs.

My point saying that is, news outlets often state people are veterans / military personnel as if to convey that everyone in the military are expert killers. This clown probably fired a weapon 10 times in a nine year career.

Hollywood furthers that theory, making all military veterans have PTSD and want to kill due to flashbacks.

Sorry, but I take that stuff personal. Not all in the military are equal. Kinda like being a collegiate athlete. Football players look down on those on the bowling team, even though they are both considered collegiate athletes.
