Hilarious. They gave her all the buzzwords. Liberals “hate white people” Blacks “taught to be victims” “Marxist” “No one is being treated differently but they feel they are” Racism is a “mindset” “No accountability in the black community” She’ll grow up to be embarrassed.
“Doing my own Research” = scouring YouTube for videos that back up exactly what I believe. “A person that thinks for himself/herself” = a person I found on YouTube reciting the exact talking points I believe. I bet this was found circulating virally from some right wing site. Such independent thought!
Because she doesn't feel like a victim? She sounds like someone that has listened to Thomas Sowell...
Yeah, let's see: Liberals hate America. There is no racism except against whites. Blacks are all taught to be victims and can't think for themselves ... Doesn't that sound like pretty much boilerplate far rightwing stuff? Can you explain why you think it means she's thinking for herself?
Let me be the one to say it now. I will never feel like a victim, and I never have felt like a victim of anything... even as a card carrying voting Republican. Explaining to you and the others here what I think about this administration and their Fascist tactics against white people is real, but not personal to me.
It is amazing that conservatives actually believe that free thought and inquiry and honest debate would someone to their side. It’s like when they think they’re being suppressed. They really think they would win the arguments. I find that so absurd. Their positions are indefensible in any open debate. They prey on ignorance. It’s just such an absurdity to imagine that they believe they occupy the intellectual high ground.
You should let the video’s creators know their shill forgot to list a talking point. Reshoot. Take 2.
Sure she got paid by some rich ghouls to shoot the video and was handed a script, but she thinks for herself
If she's willing to say these things on Fox News and make white Republicans feel comfortable, there's good money to be earned. Candace Owens may worry that her turf is being infringed upon, though.
Oh goody. More extremists view points. There's just no gray anymore. Everything is put out in sweeping blanket statements ignoring any nuance and critical thinkng. "Blacks aren't responsible for their actions cause they have someone to blame". I'm sure that thinking is true for some. But with this girl it's just "blacks" - and the "left" is to blame. "Blacks are raised in a society where nobody is treating them any differently". Again - that may be her life experiences, but lol as some kind of capital T truth. I kinda agree with her when she talks about Netflix's Black creator stuff. I'd rather just see it all together, but then she goes on to call it, "Segregation" which is pretty offensive to those that were actually segregated. "We are taught about our systemic issues and we're not free and tolerant". This is more of the same, over the top reaction to questioning the shining city on a hill narrative. She's the fragile one, incapable of holding the ideas that America has been both and incredible global force for freedom and democracy, and yet has been, and can still be hypocritical. As if one has to believe one or the other. Asking people to think isn't profitable. People don't want to put forward effort. Just tell me what I already believe and I'll keep clicking!
A lot of these people are failed actors who couldn't break into mainstream entertainment, which probably explains the Netflix thing. I think you have to consider she doesnt actually have any strong opinions on most of these matters and its just a "gig." (Though eventually the gig and persona become one and the same) I wish I could remember the twitter thread, but it was crazy how many of these conservative pundits had washed out of modeling or entertainment.
I don't know that that's fair either. Sure, maybe she was paid to read a script, and maybe she simply believes that. And that's fine. It is a little curious. She's a 20-year-old Trump supporter who said she used to be a liberal activist. When, in middle school?
As a person slightly to the left of center I do not hate White Christians, I actually admire those who are following the teachings of Jesus especially with respect to the treatment of the poor, hungry, homeless and strangers, however I do have a real problem with persons who want to turn the US into a theocracy, the majority of whom are white Christian Evangelicals. I also have problem with White Christians who hypocritically support a serial adulterer who has said that he has never had to ask G-d for forgiveness and preaches an agenda of hate.
