Sometimes people do live in bubbles because of stuff like this. Why risk being called a racist? It costs good people jobs and careers because of this fear. People will not hire certain races because of the fear that if it doesn’t work out for the implications might be that it’s because of race. Same thing happened after the me too movement. Some people were scared to hire females though well qualified. It’s a very fine line we all walk. I don’t know what the solution is but stuff like this only sets it back.

I also know Kaepernick was publicly called out and denigrated by the President of the United States, and the president warned NFL teams not to sign him. That sounds like conservative cancel culture to me. Let me know when the current president speaks out on Stokes and encourages other schools not to sign him.

 

Well in that case, I guess Stokes' UF career came to an end because he wasn't good enough.
