He said he was thrown into public. He wanted to be drunk in the bar.

Don’t you just love it when other schools claim to have their own humble choir boy like Tim Tebow and next thing you know you have a Jameis Winston. Unless of course you’re FSU who of course couldn’t care less what the qb does while representing your school.

I hate Georgia. Had too many nasty jealous Georgia fans come through my hometown on vacation during the 90s and 2000s to ever feel different about them. I also enjoy schadenfreude with the best of them but until more comes out this isn't much more than a brief embarrassment and lapse in judgment. He's 25 so he's a bit older than the normal college kid drunk in public and making an ass of himself but it's still a bit of a nothing burger.

UF shouldn't be throwing stones. We have Kitna on our blotter.
I will take drunk and disorderly any day of the week over a pedophile.

Not yet. He probably runs in UGA fans where ever he goes that want to buy him a drink. This one got carried away. If it happens again than you can start the comparisons.

I plan on being drunk in public tonight at Tedeschi Trucks. Maybe even worse but I hope I don’t start banging on doors.

Ditto, plus we have Aaron Hernandez and Tony Joiner from the past. The things they did are far worse than what he may have done and what most of us could've been in trouble when we were his age.

Athens is a cesspool. Kirby and ga fans don’t care as long as they win.

I don’t know, I think there’s a big handful of other quarterbacks in the nation that could’ve led the team

If everybody who was publicly intoxicated got arrested for it in college, like half of all college students would have records.

Sucks for him, he'll probably take a hit reputation-wise, but getting drunk in college is pretty common, especially for a college athlete, and even moreso for an athlete who just won a national championship.

I have never been comfortable jumping on the bandwagon of a kid getting in trouble from a rival school.

It's petty BS in my opinion. There is no moral high ground. Young, testosterone filled young men get in trouble.

Now raping, violence or murder is an entirely different deal.

But I find it hypocritical when UF fans point fingers when our own closet is full of ugly skeletons.

Football players have the same issues everyone else does. Sometimes the character of a young man is not revealed until time goes by.

Its ridiculous to hold coach's accountable for behavior unless of course they enable it or ignore it.

Kid? He’s 25 years old. My point is Kirby doesn’t invest in his players to develop them into better men. Some might argue it’s not his job, but coaches have always played a major role in young men’s lives. I’d much rather send my son to play for a coach that not only develops on the field but off as well.

The only thing different about today's Georgia Bulldog incident is that he's used up all of his eligibility now, so, .... we're hearing about it.
