Spurrier must be thinking where was the 12 team playoff when I coached

I'm not sure if I buy the premise by the OP. Spurrier had depth crises at the end of the seasons (I think at least partially down to recruiting). I have to think if we had a good 3 deep at rb (behind EG), we would have had another NC. But it happened in other seasons at OL and DL as well iirc.
