Spring Transfer Portal 4/15 - 4/30. Could be Chaos:

I was on weed once.

 

I’d think just by common sense, we would like to add five or so players if we can get them. That means six had to go to get there. 2-3 poached that we didn’t plan for gets us to 10%. Any more than that would be really unexpected and detrimental.

 

I can't say you're right or wrong with any of that, but will trust your word since I honestly don't keep up with the numbers or the ins/outs of our want list. My point was that we are already 1/3 through the time period, and based on Pate's comments, I would have thought there would have been more action.

 

They certainly didn’t all jump at once.

I'm going to be happy if he's wrong about the number and stature of the players we lose.

I think it’s the other way around but I’m stoked we kept our two deep entirely intact. I expected to get a player or two poached but that didn’t happen at all. I’m surprised we weren’t more aggressive in adding a couple more players but that could mess with chemistry. Maybe our coaches are happy with our 85. Still young but building talent the slow way.

 

Haven't we always gone into the Summer with a few over the 85 limit? You always have some amount of attrition over the Summer. Some current players may have grade issues or discipline issues. Unless something has changed, I wouldn't be surprised if we still don't add a couple of kids.
