No, because it says living decsendants. Otherwise, there WOULD be a RAP problem.

Yeah, someone already posted that, I was basing my question on post #33 that leaves out the part about “currently living” descendants.

DeSantis says Disney ain’t seen nothing yet.
But they saw the contract revision and he didn’t, so maybe they see more than he knows.
This is going to be entertaining, Disney can hire the best lawyers on the planet, and Ron can hire partisan wannabes. It is likely to go like all of the post 2020 lawsuits.

Waiting for right wing media to start its crusade against the rule against perpetuities.

“coming up next on Tucker Carlson — what is the RAP and how is it encouraging your children to question their gender identity and hate America? Join us after this pillow/boner pill/nutritional supplement commercial to find out all about the left’s new weapon!”

Originally, they didn't want six thousand seedy T-shirt and cheap souvenir shops lined up across the street from their parks. That's why Walt picked out the land and sought the protection Reedy offered.

Now it's quite simple...what's best for Disney is best for Reedy. I'd much rather have Disney executives running the show than some appointed hack whose theme park experience is limited to riding "It's a Small World" and "Pirates of the Caribbean" a couple of times.

Yeah, I know it's not like DeSantis went to Harvard Law School ... oh wait, that's exactly where he did go to law school. I think he has a good idea where to get good lawyers.

Yes!!! He’s hired his old roommate. Because if you look at who makes the most money from DeSantis, it’s his buddies and backslappers.

Also, as a reminder, you’re not allowed to use the H word or Y word at his gatherings. He has worked very hard to tell everyone that those schools stunk and he was able to get to where he is today DESPITE the awful education.

It’s not a question of what he knows, it’s a question of who will take on a case they likely can’t win. And that is more likely to be partisans trying to either curry favor with the next pub nominee potentially, or the Sidney Powell’s of the world.
Either way, it will be fun to watch.

I’ve been practicing law in Florida since the middle of 1981. In that time, I have crossed paths with a lot of moronic Ivy Leaguers and a whole bunch of smart Stetson grads.

    I would not be surprised.

I best law firm that I saw, on TV, was the law firm that George W. Bush hired to beat Al Gore in Florida election. Did you get a chance to see that case unfold on TV? I forgot the name of that law firm and the lawyers but they were really good. From Chicago, I believe.
