Walt Disney was not happy with all the junk business that surrounded Disneyland and cashed in on his creation. When he was scouting land in Florida, he wanted to prevent that from happening to this project, he wanted control. It is highly unlikely Disney would have built everything he did in Orange county without the Reedy Creek assurances. In the 55 years the original Reedy Creek legislation was in place, Disney hasn't wrecked too much land or endangered too many communities, it simply took a stand on an issue of some obvious importance to them.

Imagine where Orlando/Orange/Osceola County would be today if Walt had gone elsewhere.

I wasn’t talking about crimes, I put it in those terms because Biden isn’t really a purposeful flame thrower like Ron or Don. There are people on the left who are. But I would put Biden in the Paul Ryan camp comparatively. You might hate his politics, but isn’t a particularly bad guy. Ron could compare maybe to Elizabeth Warren. They both continually demonize the other side via one issue (for Warren it’s wealth inequality, Ron it’s wokeism).
Trump is in his own realm and has no fair comparison from anywhere in Us politics, at least in my lifetime.
