Let me ask you a serious question. There are about 1,800 of these special districts in Florida, including The Villages and the Daytona Speedway. Should we get rid of all of them, and, if so, why? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Of which country? Certainly not the United States. You seem to hate the United States.

Never ask a serious question directed to a deeply unserious person. It’s about as satisfying as wrestling a pig in a mud bog.

Seems the trial judge documents and supports his rulings very well. I doubt he leaves much room for the appellate to gin up a reversal. Just the Des press clippings and news conferences prove the case for them. I can only imagine how many texts and emails have already been deleted but the record will still be thick with intent.

Question, how long can DeS and the state delay discovery? Can they argue some sort of legit priveledge that would allow for exemptions? Trying to understand DeS end game? Does he honestly believe his retribition tours are legal?

Im sure the dismissed DA will be interested in the discovery. It wouldnt take a brilliant mind to document a pattern of retribution for the jury. Disney framed it brilliantly that if they cant stand up to illegal use of authority, who could? How could the Villages dude? He couldnt. Neither could the DA, or the schoolboard, or their mask wearing superintendent, or so many others across the state.

Just came to me, Disney needs to make a documentary about that poor guy from the Villages. It is already written. I would love for them to submit an application to film at specific venues related to his story just to follow the text traffic one day

Sorry, the US Supreme Court ruled in 2008 that the death penalty can't be imposed unless the victim is killed.

    Kennedy v. Louisiana.

That DeSantis fan doesn't have any real regard for the Constitution. He's a lot like his hero.

Unfortunately Kennedy was a 5-4. I see a lot of those going back up again.

well, it is possible there are some folks out there that don’t think your beloved BIG GOV is infallible & are not comfortable with continuing to give them massive power & dominion over the people

The irony of moronic policy like that is it encourages pedophiles to kill their victims. If you're facing death either ways, what do you have to lose?

But we have a different Court that has demonstrated no regard for stare decisis.
