    To the OP, it is amazing how much better receivers look with better QB play. And to that, the play calls are beginning to work well. Methinks it is Mertz feeling a lot better playing with this group of players.

    As to Jackson and his "wideout skills", I always say that a player is NOT a sum total of the individual parts. It is how they put it all together during a game. Jackson is plainly a LOT better as a whole. Unless your plan is to have a couple of track sprinters on the outside to pull the safeties away from middle of the field, how your overall skill works against a defender determines whether you will succeed or not. He looks like a wideout to me.
