Apparently I am a conservative… I have been boycotting Natural Light since my freshmen year in college. As bad as it is going down it is worse coming up.

Why aren’t doctors encouraging anorexics to continue to starve themselves so as to validate their personal truths ? Why are doctors so inconsistent ?

I'm still not sure I get the point. @citygator posted a listed of "American Brands" that have been boycotted. While Bud Light is brewed in the US and is an American Style Adjunct Lager, it isn't an American Brand. It is 100% foreign owned

When Daimler-Benz purchased Chrysler in 1998, did Chrysler all of a sudden become a “German automaker” of “fine German automobiles”? Bud Light was an American beer when InBev acquired AB and Bud Light remains an American beer.

Cute although the reality is exactly the opposite; transgendered persons who receive treatment are much less likely to to develop serious mental problems including attempting and/or committing suicide than those who are untreated.

Chrysler became a German brand. The rest is just marketing. We seem to just be dissecting ownership, brand, and marketing. And the overlap there. Bud Light clearly markets itself as an American Brand.

In this case, the basis for the cancel of the company is they want a person cancelled. Otherwise, what’s the outrage? Who cares?

Who launched the original cancel campaign? It was viral/targeted marketing in the first place, so I assume some LibsOfTikTok type social media fomented the original outrage even before Kid Rock’s nutty video. Fox “Newz” is likely late to the party and just piling on.

If AB had the ability to back up and do it all over, does anyone think they would do it the same way?

I didn’t see you complaining when they tried to cancel Chik fil a. Wonder why…

So is this the thread when people claim to only be interested in preventing children from becoming trans and in fairness in sports and would be happy to live and let them live or is this the thread where the same people get big mad about a product that is legally only for adults for partnering with a trans person who isn't an athlete?

I think this should answer your question.
Bud Light replaces marketing exec behind Dylan Mulvaney partnership: report
As I said in two or three previous posts what were they thinking when they decided to use a trans influencer to promote a brand whose consumers are/were primarily white blue collar males, probably the demographic most likely to be triggered by anything or anyone remotely transgender.

Lol, so I guess Chrysler is now an Italian carmaker ….. or is it a Dutch carmaker?

I’m not complaining. I’m just pointing out hypocrisy.

PS - I love chick fil a and take my kids there often.

You keep changing the words you're using. "Carmaker"
    "brand"
Budweiser was "created" in the US.
    Chyrsler was "purchased."
    "Automaker"

If you can't figure out the lexicon of what you want to discuss and keep it consistent, I'm not sure what we're doing.
