I have a PhD & I can't keep track of who owns what. I am currently drinking a SKA which I think is still just a Durango joint.

Maybe? What part of this disaster is a maybe? There isn't a "maybe" when your product you are selling drops 25%.

Said it earlier in this thread Anheuser-Busch made a real marketing error using Dylan Mulvaney to promote the Bud Light brand considering that that a large part of its target consumers are blue collar males the demographic most likely to be offended by a trans influencer. That being said it still amazes me how a certain demographic can be triggered by a person who should be more or less irrelevant. I actually did know about Mulvaney before the ad campaign although personally I do not give a sh*t one way or the other about him/her (use your preferred pronoun).

Pubs are trying to protect culture. Libbies are trying hard to eradicate a certain culture in America.

Can you expand on that? Seems to me that conservatives would eradicate trans culture if possible. What are liberals trying to eradicate?

I wouldn’t eradicate anyone! You libbies are so extreme.
I wouldn’t promote it and encourage it though.

I guess that's true, specifically the culture of homophobia, nativism and racism.

A truly nasty post, revealing how you see the world.
This says a lot about you. It’s all in your brainwashed head and my guess is you like to feel good about yourself as though your tribe is superior to another.

Evidently, at least member of the Florida House would like to eradicate certain folks in our state. I guess we can give him credit for saying the quiet part out loud.

No I get it. No matter what I guess that you meant by your comment you'll get offended and play the victim.

    Actually not at all.
Maybe you’re the exception, but most libbies on this board are fixated on the hate and ruin of rural white people. More specifically southern, rural, blue collar, Christian males.

For those who didn't open the link, I copied below. I wonder if he's walked it back or tried to clarify if he mispoke.

Florida GOP Representative Jeff Holcomb says the quiet part out loud on the House floor today.

“Our terrorist enemies hate homosexuals MORE THAN WE DO.”

I haven't seen any "walking back" from him. My guess is that many (privately) are perfectly okay with what he said as I've heard no admonishment from Republican leadership.

What's more disturbing is that he is a naval reserve intelligence officer.

It was a mistake in the “know your current demographic” sense, but it’s also not like they went out of their way to antagonize those who are offended. The blowback apparently caught them totally off guard. They have legit concerns about future growth and reaching millennials and younger future drinking age generations. Not sure specifically marketing to a trans activist has great ROI even without the “blue collar male” backlash, that seems like a tiny market to try and reach compared to the broader generational type marketing. But I don’t pretend to understand marketing using “influencers” of any kind.

Nevertheless it is never anything less than entertaining seeing trashy bigots make huge fools (and hypocrites) of themselves again and again. Today they want to cancel Bud Light so bad they literally blew up the product. Tomorrow, they will surely get back to decrying cancel culture when one of “theirs” is cancelled for something much more vile than just trying to sell some beer.
