Softball Transfer Portal

I'm on SS and a very tight budget. I wish I could give, but I can't, so I enjoy all the information I can get on this site. Thank you guys so much!!!

 

Every month I say to myself I need to make another donation....but then I have to spend $3000 to fix a collapsing driveway because the builders used a section as a debris pit and after many years it simply decomposed. And right now, I am spending $2800 to seal coat my drive because it hasn't been done in almost 10 years. None of that is easy money....so, sending another contribution to the softball fund at Victorious will have to wait another month but it will get done.

 

I love Gator country forums much more than those of other sports sites because GC forums are generally informative and insightful and generally supportive and respectful. I urge us all to keep it like that. Go Gators.

If she does end up here... I truly hope it's because she wants us. Which I can see our draw for her with the professional like, young, hard working team we fielded this year. Also our academics are a draw. The only thing that makes me nervous if she were to come is I don't want it to push any our kids that were waited so long from out with Brown, Rothrock, Oxley, even Miller. I feel like they would not be scared of the competition one bit and you'd have 3 sure stars.

Saw on the College Softball Reddit Forum there was a rumor Canady was at the UF Campus today. Does anyone have any insight on that?

I enjoy this forum. I met some of you guys in person and talked Gator Softball. I had a whole lot of fun doing so. Please keep the good information flowing here because I learned a whole lot. And something, like the new GA coming up in discussion and it being a mystery has been a whole lot of fun for me for guessing who it might be. It’s because I love Gator softball. I support it in all sorts of ways, spirit. scholarship, NIL and ticket holder. I’m retired and it’s how I decide to spend my money. The best part is I get a whole lotta joy doing it. So thank you, keep the information flowing.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I saw an article about Canady getting a (I think) non-school affiliated NIL deal with MLB PlayBall Weekend. While schools can guarantee NIL deals, maybe her stature in the sport can transcend the school affiliated NIL deals?

Along those lines, does UF/the UAA have any contacts with Nike/Gatorade/etc to hook star players up with NIL deals like the commercial with Lagway?

Olivia Dunn, now ex-LSU gymnast, transcended the NIL deals found in college gymnastics. She was also using her experience to help other LSU gymnasts set up their NIL deals.

Canady is well known enough to be able to arrange her own and larger NIL deals along with what she can command from the schools NIL. If money isn't an issue, I'm beginning to think Canady is going to land with UF.
