Not surprising. I wish her the best. I got the idea that she was in CTW's dog house, perhaps for more than her performance. It will be interesting to see where she lands.

I thought her performance was due to her off season surgery. I saw a few people who said they think she'll probably end up transferring out.

Bosch wasted 2 years of her eligibility, so I don't blame her for not wanting the same old, same old.
    I hate it.
Why CTW cannot see this is beyond me.

There’s also the matter of likely being oassed over by two pitchers this fall.
But I would say let’s wait for the next few weeks and see what Walton does with his staff before completely losing faith.

Olivia was rarely used this season I thought she would be the one entering her name in the portal. ( although the portal is still open) That leaves Florida with no pitcher with SEC or Post season experience. Curious to see what Tim and his staff does the next few weeks to next few months in the portal.

Does this signal that Bosch is staying?

The incoming pitchers were not the problem. Bosch is the problem. He has yet to develop 1 pitcher since he has been here.
Rylee went back and worked with her previous pitching coach last summer, and she showed results.
I want to wait, but the waiting is past time. He must act quickly and decisively on the staff and the portal.
Do you realize if things stay the same, we have 2 freshmen pitchers on staff and no one else?
I am sure they are excited to come and be coached down by Bosch.
It would not surprise me if the pitchers requested release from their LOIs.

Personally, I don't think so. Everyone is quick to point to coaching but my theory has always been that you enter the portal because either: (1) you think you are better than your team; or (2) you think you can get more playing time elsewhere. Clearly in this case, #2.

More playing time? She would be pitcher #1 next year, the only pitcher on the roster with experience.

I love Lexi, I wish her the best and Karma would be she is picked up by the Sooners, redshirts for a year and Rocha turns her into an All American, starting her first Sooner SEC game at KSP in 2024.

Few people have said they heard Bosch is gone but no real source to confirm it.

I know this has already been posted and discussed, but I copied this from Justin McLeod's Twitter page. McLeod is the Softball Editor for Extra Innings Softball and is posting portal info. as soon as they hit.
"Florida P Lexie Delbrey has entered the transfer portal, she announced. After two seasons as a Gator, Delbrey owns a career 2.63 ERA, a 22-6 overall record, and 171 strikeouts in 191.1 innings of work. She has held opponents to a .194 batting average in college."

Settle down Scrappy. Let’s not run off our freshmen pitchers before they step on campus. These young ladies have wanted to be Gators for many years. I think both are poised to have years similar to the Stanford freshman pitcher. I guarantee you Coach Walton is pissed with the results of this season. I have no doubt he’s focused on making the necessary corrections.

I like hitters with lifetime .398 batting averages! We could use a couple of them.

I would never want to body shame a young lady but the first time I saw Lexi pitch this year which was several weeks ago I couldn’t help but notice how much heavier she was this season over past season. Now I had heard that she was recovering from injury but got to believe CTW couldn’t have been happy with the weight she put on during rehab. Maybe injury was such she couldn’t condition but really not an excuse for putting on that much weight. My first thought was, bet she’s not back next season.

“I would never want to body shame…” and proceeds to body shame. Terrible take is terrible.

We are a group of passionate fans composed mostly of men and in many cases old, me included that are venting their frustrations about the current state of the softball program. That is what the board is all about and I think it is great UF have fans that care that much.

Oklahoma has 3 aces on their team, plus 2 other pitchers they are bringing along. A rising junior should not be scared off by 2 incoming freshmen, regardless of how good they are. The good teams are now regularly using 3-4 pitchers. Trlicek could have stayed another year as well, knowing how experience-thin the Gators would be. And yet she chose to move on. Something ain't right in Gatorland.
