Kayla would be a super addition as long as Arky doesn't grab her first. Emily can hit - she is the best D catcher on the team. The pitchers love her as do the infielders. By the way everyone in the line up or off the bench hits better than #52 who was Tim's choice for catcher during the bulk of the year.

Bri Ellis(AU) posted on twitter shes in portal. Dont blame her a bit based on the offensive development under Dean & co.

From Houston..my first guess is OU..lol but she better get better. Last AU transfer Snow, went to OU.

Complete coincidence I'm sure but Kayla and Skylar were the two guests on Perfect Game interview a few weeks ago:

So why she leaving? Want a NC then OU makes sense. Homesick then Aggies or Horns make sense, maybe even LSU. Just curious.

Didnt specify.. Closer to Houston and or a desire for a competent hitting coach are my guesses. Or just disproval of Dean.. Her dad played f-ball at Rice , do they have a SB team?? lol

Some are guessing $$,, but not many NILs equal to AU, and how much is spent on SB to start with??..minimal Id guess.

More than the majority..lol at least in SEc..aTm is close.

nationally.. id say only behind or on par with.. Miami, USC(the real one) Texas, Michigan, tOSU

Most of it are fball.bball numbers,, so not sure exact amounts. Like I said probably next to nothing SB wise.

Best answer for AU, is what ever Jimmy Rane sez it is..;)

No softball at Rice. Houston has a team, but would be a step down. They're not good.

I know the portal basically just opened up, but surprised we haven't seen any Florida players enter yet.

The portal is open from May 15- June 28. The team just got back from Stanford probably Monday. I'm sure they need to get some rest and then I imagine Coach Walton will meet with each of them to discuss their futures. Paperwork has to be submitted as well. If any of the ladies are going to leave, I would expect their names will hit the portal by the end of the month.

If the portal could just hire a coach and find a stadium, they'd be one heck of a team.
