Roster spots are nearly infinite, depending on how the limited schollies are divided. And we never know that part.

Wow. Blows my mind. Did not see that coming. Tim really must have reservations on what is coming back and coming in for the infield or he would not be playing the portal like this. Another excellent get.

Tim knows what he is doing to say the least. He recruited Cahalan hard out of high school but lost her. He likely knows Holtorf from time spent at USA Softball. And some people complain that he took the time to go to Ireland last year and other years and this year to Italy. Pays huge dividends being one of the prime stalwarts at USA Softball. The benefits can't be measured with the contacts he makes.

Does this group think we have 1st base open as well? With the talent coming in, I would think ava is done playing at first and will focus on other things. That means SS and 1st definitely open and 2nd is competition as well. AK imo will play wherever she wants other than catcher..she is just that adaptable

Ariel will play wherever Tim wants her to play with this pack of people but she will be a starter somewhere.

Ahhh okay thanks. I honestly wasn’t sure how it worked, and noticed he usually keeps it between 18-22 after looking back at the previous years rosters. I was just genuinely curious if there was a roster limit now that we have a lot of players returning, freshman coming in, and now transfers coming in. I say the more the merrier!

I think somebody else may have already mentioned this, but Holtorf and Jocelyn Erickson went to the same high school in Phoenix. So that connection had to have helped as well.

I'm beginning to think that Tim relies on Jocey for a ton of things...both on and off the field. And I wholeheartedly approve. No way to even suggest minimizing Kendyl, Skylar and Charla but...things keep buzzing in my head that Jocey might just top them all.

Have at it folks. Anyone willing to predict next year's lineup is playing with fool's gold. I haven't a clue, with what has happened, on how this will shake out and nobody else does either.

I find it funny that OU fans and media were all talking about getting Holtorf but since she announced UF they say Patty rescinded the offer and chose Agbayani over Holotfor like it's not even a chance Holtorf wanted UF over OU when that was very likely the case.

It's probably the first time in awhile they haven't gotten every player they really wanted. And the fans absolutely wanted her and are backtracking now saying Agbayani is better

I'm so shocked Holtorff is coming here. She is getting married very soon and her soon to be husband and family are all in Arizona

    Juniors: (2) Jocey, Kenleigh
Sophomore: (7) Ava, Keagan, Cassidy, Liv, Alyssa(Lou), Ariel(AK), Mia
Freshmen: (5) Gabi, Layla, Katelynn(Red), Taylor, Townsen

Seniors: 3 All American, 5 All Conference
Juniors: 1 All American, 2 All Conference
Sophomores: 1 All American, 2 All Conference, 2 Gatorade Players of the Year, 3 High School All Americans
Freshmen: 1 Gatorade Player of the year, 3 High School All Americans
Note: High school all Americans are not clearly defined. Ava may have been an All American in one Collegiate organization, but I can’t recall.

So..after the All Americans, it’s the best leader,Best producer, Hardest Worker, best teammate…. CWT has some hard choices.

It's going to come down to who puts in the work over the summer and into the fall and then who produces when given the opportunity. I think other than Erickson, Falby and Otis, no starting positions are guaranteed. I do think Kowalweski has earned a starting spot, but she's versatile enough to move to another position if it will help the team.

Just for reference Comia is the (#3 overall)#1 SS Lamar is the (#4 overall)#1 3B Oxley is the (#5 overall) #3 Pitcher and Thomas is the(#12 overall)#1 OF Bringing in 4 of the Top 12 players in the Country reminds me of last year's class, not to mention Shuemaker. Now with the two new IF additions there has to be some moving on. I'd love to know what's happening.

I woild love to see how they react if they don't get Canady lol. It'll be... "well Gasso must not have wanted her".
I was very shocked by this pickup after Cahalen. I really didn't think we'd have any more transfers except maybe another arm. But her coming in here does go to show you can't base expectation about where players will go on where they're from and all that.

These PAC teams are taking a big hit. I believe these westcoast girls are not to excited about playing in a conference that is loaded with average teams at best.

Coast to coast travel for every series also sounds exhausting.
