What the complainers seem to forget is that rankings are just a beauty pageant. Georgia was number one all year merely because people thought they were number one. Why are there five “power” conferences? It’s merely peoples’ perceptions that those conferences are on the whole stronger. Now, perception has come back to bite FSU.

 

If they beat Georgia, they'll pretty much have earned it (ie they'd be in their rights to make rings and declare MNC) TBH.

My only thing here, is that they simply haven't earned the respect on the gridiron of being one of the 4 best teams in the country. UGA has.

As distasteful as I may find it, yeah, Id tip my hat, and not begrudge them at all, at that point.

...but the team they would beat wont be the team that played that played this year. It will be the usual post season team minus the NFL draft stock. Never the less from what I saw out of FSUs o line...they suck (and they didnt lose anyone when we played them) and their QB scenario I would rather have Max Brown. Theyre getting bombed...and Vegas thinks so too. 14 points on a neutral site is the difference between #5 and #20 playing which is where I currently think they belong minus Travis. They are the most lopsided bowl spread out there minus Oregon versus Liberty which is only ope point more. Oregon versus Liberty...thats how bad the UGa FSU game is being predicted by Vegas.

Alabama by the way who they dont think deserves to be in is a 3.5 point favorite to win the whole ball of wax over Texas. So obviously the money feels FSU belongs with Liberty and Bama belongs with the national title...and Vegas is incredibly good.
