You posted prime content that I can't see.

There is an eloquent reason why they were left out... becasue we did implement the 12 team playoff system on time.

I posted a link and an article that explains why we're in this playoffs morass.

The ACC, Pc-12 and the B1G conference commissioners delayed the implementation of the 12 team playoff system for one year. Had they done their jobs correctly we would have a 12 team playoff system this year.

I also think we should bring back the computers ranking system for the SOS... They are the reason why so many teams like Bama still schedule cup-cakes.

Undefeated or not, SOS has to be part of that equation. And last but not least, the eyeball test matters... whomever the committee thinks are the 4 best teams has to matter, and FSU is nowhere nearly as good as Bama without their star QB1 available to play. Not all teams rely on their QB1 to make their team great but in the case of FSU... they do NOT score much without their star QB1.

This is not the NFL where records count no matter who is playing for your team becasue only the record matters. In college we still consider SOS and the players that you have uninjured on your team when the committee votes on the 4 best teams to make the playoffs. IOW, wins and losses are NOT the only deciding factor. There are mitigating circumstances and several points of fact to consider the 4 best teams.

 

Not paying a dollar to see their whining, although I bet it's delicious seeing them crying..lol lol
