hopefully some reporter asks him if he believes there are systemic injustices in American society and they need to be addressed. See if he says no.

So if DeSantis gets elected president, America will be where woke comes to die. I guess at that point, the Statue of Liberty would be dismantled.

I just learned DeSantis just recently endorsed Walker for Senator. That ought to tell us all we need to know about DeSantis.

You usually attach ‘stan’ to countries or regions you consider backwards and banana republic. But relative to the rest of the US, Florida is going, growing and glowing!

Boom, down goes another case for the same reason as the last.

A Miami judge has tossed out another voter fraud case brought by Gov. Ron DeSantis’ elections police, the third case to fall apart since the governor announced the arrests.

On Wednesday, Circuit Judge Laura Anne Stuzin reached the same conclusion as another Miami judge did in a different voter’s case, saying that statewide prosecutors didn’t have the ability to bring charges against Ronald Lee Miller.

Another Florida voter fraud case dismissed. Miami judge rejects statewide prosecutor

"Barrar added, “Let this be a lesson to all not to use the legal system for political gain and waste taxpayers’ hard earned money

Only the best people..major DeSantis and republican donor, under investigation for sexual misconduct charges, apparently dead by suicide.

what does one do to earn an access card to the JSO headquarters?

I-TEAM: High-profile political donor, who was found dead Thursday, had access card to JSO headquarters (news4jax.com)

Kent Stermon, 50, was found dead in the parking lot of the Mayport Post Office Thursday night. Foul play is not suspected in his death, police said.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office confirmed Stermon was the subject of an “active investigation” that started a few weeks before his death, and News4JAX learned from several sources that the investigation involved sexual misconduct allegations.

The I-TEAM has since confirmed that Stermon, who was not employed by the Sheriff’s Office, was given an access card to JSO headquarters for the past five years -- at the same time, he was donating thousands to GOP candidates, including former Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams.
    ..........................
The log revealed Stermon swiped his JSO access card hundreds of times from 2017 until Nov. 15, 2022 -- five days before Waters was sworn in, which means these actions took place during the tenure of former Sheriff Mike Williams and interim Sheriff Pat Ivey. Stermon had swiped the card 87 times since the beginning of 2022.

so DeSantis appointed this crook who was scamming veterans and apparently involved in sexual assault to the Board of Governors and was a member of Des transition team

something comes to mind about being judged by the company you keep

DeS also appointed him to Florida Highway Patrol Advisory Council and he was the Chair of the Governor’s Public Safety Transition Advisory Committee.

Prominent DeSantis ally, Florida political donor found dead, was under investigation (tampabay.com)

Kent Stermon, a longtime friend of Gov. Ron DeSantis who served on the governor’s transition team and was a current member of the board that oversees the state’s public universities, was found dead Thursday evening, according to police.

The Atlantic Beach Police Department in Duval County said Stermon was found dead in his truck in the parking lot of a post office just outside of Jacksonville. The investigation is being worked as a suicide, police said, and they do not suspect foul play. He was 50 years old.

In a statement Friday, Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters said that Stermon “was the subject of an active investigation by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, which began a few weeks prior to his death. This investigation remains ongoing at this time and will continue until its completion.”

Florida Donor and Ron DeSantis Ally Kent Stermon Found Dead by Suicide (thedailybeast.com)

Stermon’s death marked a confounding moment within Florida politics because of his close kinship with a myriad of political figures including DeSantis, whose political operations have received more than $60,000 of his and his family’s funds. When DeSantis was iced out of his congressional district in 2016 after redistricting, he moved into a condo co-owned by Stermon in order to run again, according to a 2018 Politico story. The governor later named Stermon to his transition team.

He was also paid handsomely in political appointments. In 2019, DeSantis appointed Stermon to the state’s 17-member Board of Governors, the influential body that oversees its state university system. Stermon’s appointment was set to run through 2026, according to its website.

What on earth is the political benefit of him attacking vaccines? I can politically see attacking shutdowns and mandates but I don’t see how this strengthens his position among the broader general public.

He is taking the Trump lane to the presidency, this is what he has to do to get where he wants to be, and he is willing to do and say whatever it takes.

BOOM! Do you hear him Ron? or should he yell louder?

Without wasting taxpayer money for political gain Ronnie would have little to do.

His plan to destroy public education as we know it is picking up steam. Teacher shortages are extreme even considering other external factors

To prevent that from happening, Pinellas County School Board member Laura Hine acknowledged the need to create a better atmosphere for teachers. She suggested her board should make a concerted effort to show that teachers are trusted and valued.

I don't get it either. He must think the adamant anti-vax crowd is large enough to warrant this.
