She is a reporter for the CBS affiliate in Tallahassee. This could have been learned with a simple click...

Post 34746 is one of a few from the Covid thread where I posted the numbers and it defines what I have said. It is not hard to run the numbers. I know you want to look at it from a different view. That is fine. But the numbers do not lie…

    Here is post 34746:
Coronavirus in the United States - news and thoughts

I'm glad the poster recognizes this is one of the few times they posted numbers :)

In that post they provide a link to data about deaths in England from January 1st, 2021 through December 31st, 2021. https://www.ons.gov.uk/file?uri=/pe...januaryand31december2021/referencetable2.xlsx

In Table 1 we find the monthly mortality rates by vaccination status for deaths involving COVID-19.

January the mortality rate for the unvaccinated was 1189.6 while the rate for the ever vaccinated was 663.9 (all the mortality rates are standardised per 100,000 person-years). Similar to the data they posted for more recent months, those who are unvaccinated are much more likely to die than those who are vaccinated.

February it was 2169.6 vs 182.4

    March was 587.6 vs 53.5

    April was 144.2 vs 15.6

    May was 45.0 vs 6.2

So on and so forth. The unvaccinated are much more likely to die of covid than the vaccinated.

My post shows exactly what I have stated. A majority of those who died with covid were fully vaccinated in the middle of 2021. It followed what you would expect as the shots rolled out based on what we knew. Older people with comorbidities were dying vaccinated or unvaccinated.

These shots should have never been authorized for kids or young healthy people for that matter.

Table 5 of your link breaks down the mortality rates by month and age group. Every age group shows the same pattern, the unvaccinated are much more likely to die than those who are vaccinated.

It would be great if people would stop filling this thread up with COVID crap. That's not why we have the thread.

It would be nice if certain posters would stop filling up the COVID thread with their COVID crap, too.

Table 4 provides the hard numbers that show by June 1 over 50% of the deaths were fully vaccinated. With less than 50% of the population vaccinated. Now of course the over 65 group was likely in the 80% vaccinated range as that was the target group. It was over 90% fully vaccinated dying by early 2022. Why? Because this disease attacks older people. Especially ones with comorbidities.

They don’t like that DeSantis handled this better than everyone else and he is now a threat.

I’m convinced at this point that Desaster could come out with a full on Hitler toothbrush moustache and do the Nazi salute and his defenders would still find a way to support him. Pathetic.

DeSantis handled this worse than all but two governors. Florida had the third most covid deaths in the entire country.

I understand that everyone must learn when and how to perform the correct salute, and wear the appropriate color shirt in order to be "approved".

    LOL!

Guess what state did the worst based on your way of looking at it here?

    Guess which did second worse?

Hint. The state that has the highest population did the worst. And the state with the second largest population was next. Followed by the state with the third largest population.

This disease killed older people with comorbidities especially.

LOL. And who is the Gov of the 3rd biggest state? It's almost like how many residents in your state has a correlation to how many people died of covid. Brilliant commentary. Thanks for adding to the conversation.

Good, so you do understand why scientists use rates when comparing different size populations. Glad we settled that.

Now do you see the problem with your analysis of the data from England?
