That June 2022 article linked above is old news that the Gator Collective people said was total BS, at least from UF's perspective. Rashada signed his LOI, which means if he changes his mind he'll lose a year of eligibility. He's not gonna do that. My guess is there's a paperwork problem with his California High School and the UF Admissions office, which has happened with athletes in the past. It would be nice to get some official clarification, though. Blake Alderman, who covers Gator recruiting for 247Sports, will get answers soon enough.

 

That BS was proven inaccurate pretty much the day after it was put out there. Buncha nonsense.

Go read the article about Rashada that The Athletic posted last week. Real article with real info from real sources. Do you believe everything you hear? It's not that difficult to figure out what's a reliable source and what isn't. I swear, some of you must be new to the internet.

 

How so? Most of use have been on here long enough to see info pop up only to be a nothing burger and trolls come in to start rumors.

He posted an article to back it up. Again, you did not just simply ask a question in your original post. The owner of the site decided to let this one go as it seems to be growing legs. Your initial post was nixed by a different mod just doing his/her job.

 

I've already answered this in another post, but you stated a rumor, then asked a question. You didn't simply ask a question. Simply asking a question would have been: "Does anyone know if Rashada is officially enrolled yet?" That is not what you did.

You keep acting like everyone is out to get you. You started a riot, all these people are triggered...none of that is really happening. You're just freaking out.

I do not believe that NIL is an issue in this situation.

Rashada got his NIL deal via sources outside of the state of Florida. From what I gathered there were not any restrictions in his deal on what college he goes to

The hang up in paper work for college football players changing school is nothing new. A lot of college paper pushers were off during the last half of December and most likely did not get back to work until the middle of last week. Hopefully the papers will arrive soon and he will be at UF.

On another note. some posters are wrongly making UF a whipping boy for the issues with NIL portal/recruiting.

State colleges in Florida have restrictions on what they can do and not do. The current law in Florida tells the colleges that they cannot promote or restrict the deals/relations between the transfer/recruits and those offering the NIL. Private colleges in Florida and a lot of state colleges outside of Florida do not have the restrictions that state colleges have to follow.

 

He's not here for academics anyway....nothing to lose by enrolling on the last day of drop/add. I think that is this Friday.
