The only difference is the margin and the scope which is a stupid difference to cling to if one is not only reasonable but good (which also happens to benefit your team) while the other is "a threat to democracy" (when it happens to threaten your team).

It's telling that the bulk of Trump's critiques are over his character whereas Biden's critiques are over policy and the sheer weakness of his administration.

Biden has differences in policy than Trump. So in your world there is apparently nothing a President can do in terms of illegality and immorality that supersedes your preference for ideological party and policy issues.

 

Well, if the case you're making for Democrats is they play by the rules and are more moral than Republicans... I don't exactly think that's a winning battle.

Trump may have character issues, but they're generally on par with other politicians contrary to popular liberal and never-Trumper belief. He's just a threatening outsider, which is why some powerful people are selectively bringing the hammer down on him.
