Thanks a bunch for running the pool, Smoot. It makes the cfb season that much more enjoyable. Just my $.02 and I might be the only dummy who didn't read all the rules, but I didn't have any idea about the playoff picks. I thought it was weekly + bowls. The playoff thing threw me for a loop. If ya keep it next year, though, I will remember to pick and I will whip y'allz tails!

Things I'm thinking about for next season: - Knocking down the bowl games from 10 games to 7 or 8 (OR) - Just making the bowl games 2 weeks of normal picks of 5 games. - Totally reworking or eliminating the playoff week (Any suggestions here would be greatly appreciated. We need a better ending to the season as it just seemed to be so slow with so few games) - Adding career points/totals. I'll probably do this to some degree. It would be keeping track of players career point totals, wins etc. Could add extra "wins" for regular season winners, bowl week "winners" and playoff week "winners". I'm all ears!
Thanks for running this it was a blast. My thoughts are the bowls are a huge crap shoot with the current portal setup and opt outs. I didn't do real good but I like the playoff format. Thanks again!
That's my thinking as well. With the current scoring, your top three picks in the bowl week are worth almost 2x a one "normal" week. Since we have to pick so early before a lot of the bowl games, it's likely those top picks could have drastic changes in spreads because of all the CFB shenanigans. Cutting it down to 7 or 8 games, or doing 2 weeks of normal scoring would eliminate some of that.
