   You must be a Florida Cracker, like me. I’d never heard of of them until my lovely wife, a Yankee girl, fed, or tried to feed them to me, early in our marriage.
   Shaped like a carrot, tastes a little like turnips, but the most God awful vegetable I’ve ever tasted.
   I thought she was trying to poison me.
