Yes, stick with your Landshark wing, and it’s way past your bedtime old man. You must’ve taken a power nap this afternoon.

We could give them the panhandle and improve both states. Apologies to @74nole.

IMO, what skewed the opinion of the "experts" was the early season wins. Not the same, but I recall when Gonzaga was a great team all season but lost their great player to an injury and got dinged as a result. That was because they weren't the same team as the one who won all those magical games.

Just because you are in mid-season form at the beginning of the season and play teams who are not does not mean you are progressing the same amount as others down the stretch. Kind of like a miler who sprints the first 2 or 3 laps and somehow the "experts" are surprised they don't win the race.

But college basketball is provincial in nature and so all that matters is the score at the end of the game.

AND, Bama and Auburn beat Houston earlier in the year and so did Texas Tech. We beat all 3 and finished against them 7-1. Not too shabby for a coach that wasn't even on the short list for COTY. We need to have tshirts made.

Yea the committee seems to treat November wins like March wins and momentum be damned. KenPom has got it right all along, yet the committee was way off on some of their seedings. They should just replace the committee with KenPom going forward

Auburn had a ton of good wins. No shame in admitting that. But as md pointed out, the metrics actually favored Florida against Auburn.

The bottom line is, no matter what happened in the past, you still have to win the game to advance. And we have one more game, for which I am thankful.
