I find it interesting how often Trey Dean is mentioned in the context of how much experience we’re losing. Basically he wasn’t very good, and that’s being kind. Really makes me wonder how much of his suckage was poor coaching vs. just being not that good.

 

Last years defense worst in Gator history and the DC is gone. The DC in 21’ fired during season, Dean played all 3 positions in the back end and seemingly never played the same position the following season. I think the jury is out until his NFL moment.

 

His best year was his freshman year. He played corner back. He is not a natural safety.

 

Can’t argue with that
